W's Desoli Thermal Crew

Comfort and performance provided by nature itself, that’s the idea behind our pure merino wool Desoli Series. Women's Desoli Thermal Crew is a minimalistic and versatile wool crew where the magic lies in the fabric. Women's Desoli Thermal Crew is made in Solid Gridmerino™, a fabric made with pure 17,6 µm merino wool. At 270 g/m², this is a quite lofty fabric that provides a lot of insulation, but thanks to the grid construction you also have great airflow which keeps you comfortable during high pace activities. The pure wool enhances the natural benefits of wool: It stays warm when wet, stays fresh longer and adapts to your body temperature. In addition, unblended wool is fully circular and the fabric can be recycled or even composted when the garment is fully worn out. If you are looking for a really warm and cozy base layer or a lighter second layer, Women's Desoli Thermal Crew is a great choice! It will keep you warm on the ski slopes, on alpine expeditions or any wintertime activity when you need that extra insulation.

Care instructions

  • Use our wash bag to protect your clothes.
  • Machine wash cold, preferably with a wool program.
  • If possible, use wool detergent. Otherwise, mild, environmentally certified detergents and be sure to use the correct dosage. Choose a detergent that contains a neutral pH and no enzymes.
  • Avoid the use of bleaches and alkaline substances that increase the pH. As well as the use of enzymes such as protease or amylase, as they can degrade the wool that gives the material its natural performance properties. This also applies to silk.
  • Avoid fabric softener. This is not only harmful to our environment, but also negatively affects the performance of clothing, especially moisture transport and breathability.
  • Do not tumble dry.
  • Shape the garment after washing and lay flat to dry.

Technologies and manufacturing processes

  • Solid Gridmerino™

A new dimension of wool fabric that combines super soft merino wool with a functional grid construction.
  • Wool material

Wool is a fantastic material with natural resistance to bacteria and dirt. Therefore, wool does not need to be washed after each use. Frequent washing negatively affects the properties of wool and wears out the garment unnecessarily. Instead, air your wool garments to reduce water consumption, save energy and extend the life of the garment.
  • Circular

This product is completely circularly produced. Means: It is made from either recycled and recyclable fibers. Most products in today's society have a linear life cycle where the earth's resources are extracted, used and then thrown away. This doesn't work in the long run and has a big impact on the environment. Instead, we want to close the production cycle and reuse materials we already have. But we need your help. If one day your Houdini apparel is completely worn out, please bring it back to us. We have recycling units in all Houdini stores and at many of our retailers.
  • biodegradable

The material in this product is completely biodegradable. We never mix our natural fibers with synthetic fibers, nor do we use harmful chemicals. So you can even compost your clothing and Mother Nature transforms it back into fertile soil. Ingredients such as zippers, tags and stitching must be removed beforehand, but can often be recycled separately. If you don't have your own compost, bring your worn out clothes to us. We have recycling units at many of our retailers.
  • Recyclable

The material of this product is fully recyclable. Instead of becoming waste, the raw material can be used for new products. Our goal is to remove no more new raw materials from the earth's crust by 2030. Circular products made from recycled or recyclable materials can truly change the game of manufacturing culture. We need your help, though. If your Houdini apparel is completely worn out, please bring it back to us. We have recycling units in all of our own stores and at many of our retailers.
