The reason we call the BFF Pants II "best friend for always" is because we consider them to be a great adventure partner. They protect you from fall storms, blizzards and summer rain. The BFF Pants II are also a friend of the planet. Membrane and water-repellent treatment are fluorocarbon-free. The material is recycled and recyclable. The design is robust, durable and easy to repair. This gives the BFF a touch of infinite durability. The Womenu2019s BFF Pants II are made from waterproof and breathable Flow 3L. Lightweight, quiet and elastic. The stretchmaterial combined with the precise fit gives the pants incredible freedom of movement and excellent comfort. The pants have a long zipper on the outside of the leg for easy ventilation and comfort with boots. The seams are fully welded and all zippers are water-repellent. If you are looking for soft, low-noise and lightweight shell pants for year-round adventures, then these pants are your match. The BFF Pants II will last for many years, but if they do succumb to wear and tear one day, take them to Houdini for recycling. The raw material can be turned into new products. Care instructions
- Airing laundry instead of washing saves water and energy and extends the life of the garment. Be sure to wash your shell if it has been used in salt water or has become very sweaty or dirty, as this will weaken the garment's performance. This can reduce the breathability of the fabric and damage the water repellent surface. The dirt can even allow moisture to seep through the fabric.
- Use our wash bagz to protect your clothes and prevent fibers from leaking. When cleaning the bag and filter in the machine, make sure you clean it and throw the lint in the trash can. Never rinse it in water, as we don't want the fibers to end up in lakes or oceans.
- Machine wash cold
- There are special detergents for shells, but mild detergents certified as environmentally friendly work just as well. Use the right dose.
- Avoid fabric softener. This is not only harmful to our environment, but also negatively affects the performance of clothing, especially moisture transport and breathability.
- Hang the shell out to dry. Just remember to apply heat to the garment after washing to reactivate the water repellent surface of the shell fabric. Use a drying cabinet, dryer or iron. Make sure that the heat is well dosed so that the garment does not melt.
- You can reapply or reinforce the water repellent treatment as needed with a wash or spray. Always use an organic DWR: You can find both a spray and a wash in the webshop or in our stores.
- Remember to apply heat to the garment after washing to reactivate the water-repellent surface of the fabric.

At least 50% of the fibers in this product come from recycled sources. Either from recycled clothing or other origin, such as from PET bottles. We use mainly recycled polyester, which has many advantages. It reduces both CO2 emissions and water consumption compared to virgin polyester. By how much depends on the recycled type. One of our suppliers, for example, brings it to 32% reduced CO2 emissions and 94% lower water consumption for mechanically recycled polyester. In addition to the impact of production, Houdini's main approach is to reuse supposed "waste" as raw materials instead of original virgin crude.Recyclable
The material of this product is fully recyclable. Instead of becoming waste, the raw material can be used for new products. Our goal is to remove no more new raw materials from the earth's crust by 2030. Circular products made from recycled or recyclable materials can truly change the game of manufacturing culture. This product is completely circularly produced. Means: It is made from either recycled and recyclable fibers. Most products in today's society have a linear life cycle where the earth's resources are extracted, used and then thrown away. This doesn't work in the long run and has a big impact on the environment. Instead, we want to close the production cycle and reuse materials we already have. But we need your help. If one day your Houdini apparel is completely worn out, please bring it back to us. We have recycling units in all Houdini stores and at many of our retailers.

How to measure
- 1. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 2. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 3. Inseam length:Measured on the inside of the leg from the crotch to below the ankle.
