The Houdini design team has spent countless hours to refine and perfect our vision of a hooded fleece jacket. Alto Zip Houdi is a result of this vision, materialized in all natural fibers. It has a precise fit, high collar and snug hood. Two zippered side pockets will keep your belongings safe and the 2-way front zipper makes it easy to vent out excess heat. Alto Zip Houdi is made in Woolly Treemerino™, a Swedish made fabric in 60% merino wool and 40% Tencel®. Merino wool provides warmth and a natural odor resistance. Tencel® is made from cellulose and gives the garment structure and better moisture transmission. Together, these two natural fibers form a warm and cozy, yet surprisingly light and breathable fabric. It’s suitable for just about any adventure where warmth is essential. Layer it under your shell jacket for skiing or wear it over a base layer on a chilly autumn hike. If you are looking for a warm mid-layer and prefer natural fibers over synthetics, this is your match. Use it for many years of adventuring and when it’s completely worn out, bring it back to us for recycling. The fabric is completely biodegradable and the cycle of nature can continue.

Care instructions
- Use our wash bag to protect your clothes.
- Machine wash cold, preferably with a wool program.
- If possible, use wool detergent. Otherwise, use mild, environmentally certified detergents and make sure you use the correct dosage. Choose a detergent that has a neutral pH and does not contain enzymes.
- Avoid the use of bleaches and alkaline substances that increase the pH value. As well as the use of enzymes such as protease or amylase, as these can break down the wool that gives the material its natural performance properties. This also applies to silk.
- Avoid fabric softener. This is not only harmful to our environment, but also has a negative effect on the performance of the clothing, especially on moisture transport and breathability.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Shape the garment after washing and lay flat to dry.
