Giro Empire VR70 Knit

A new approach to off-road performance The Empire™ VR70 Knit is unlike any other mountain bike shoe you've ever seen. It features Giro's newly developed Xnetic™ knit upper that offers unparalleled comfort and breathability and a bonded TPU exoskeletal system that supports you where you need it. The upper is DWR treated for water repellency and easy cleaning, while an elastic toe guard and a bonded TPU heel area increase durability and abrasion resistance. A closed stretch knit ankle cuff provides maximum comfort and additional support and protection from slipping out on the trail. All of this is based on a tough Easton® EC70 carbon fiber sole that provides the highest level of stiffness and a tough Vibram® rubber outsole that provides protection and support when you're not on the bike.
