The spacious Ceres IV XP Extreme tunnel tent is designed for three people with plenty of gear and offers ideal protection in the harshest conditions. Its rugged materials and practical, winter-specific features make it the ideal companion for demanding expeditions in Arctic climates. The tunnel tent design, featuring four sturdy pole arches, can withstand even extremely strong winds and storms. This is further ensured by the even thicker, extra-strong guy lines that can be operated while wearing gloves. Extra loops at the ends also allow for securing the tent with skis. The new pole feet, designed for two pole sets, provide additional stability. The option of two pole arches ensures even greater safety, even in nearly apocalyptic conditions. The outer tent is finished in eye-catching Dark Lava, making it highly visible even in poor visibility during a snowstorm. The snow flaps around the tent are buried in the snow, protecting the interior from drifting snow and wind. Marked pole center: The “Middle Marker” feature (pat. pend.) developed by EXPED marks the center of the tent poles with a segment in a different color. This makes folding the poles from this point twice as fast. This also extends the lifespan of the rubber cord inside the tent. The Ceres impresses with its generous interior space and two opposite entrances, ensuring that one is always sheltered from the wind. The two vestibules offer ample space for gear as well as for cooking. The Snow Ditch Flap, attached to the inner tent, ensures that no snow enters the inner tent.
