The facts at a glance
Edelrid Shark II
The Shark II crampon from Edelrid is the ideal companion for demanding mountain adventures, be it ice climbing, mountaineering or expeditions. This technical 12-tooth crampon offers impressive versatility thanks to its full binding variability, which covers all shoe types. Thanks to the three-dimensional design, the crampon is extremely light and dimensionally stable. The high-quality steel construction with abrasion-resistant coating ensures durability and reliability, while the durable spring steel bridge provides additional stability.
The innovative front point geometry enables optimum grip on steep ice and at the same time offers excellent load-bearing capacity on snow. The robust anti-balling plates effectively prevent snow from sticking. The simple size adjustment and tool-free binding change make handling particularly user-friendly. Even when wearing gloves, operation is easy thanks to the innovative catch strap buckle with quick-release function and low tendency to form ice.
The Shark II is compatible with all Edelrid binding types and crampon parts and offers full flexibility thanks to the stepless automatic binding, semi-automatic binding and soft binding. Whether for crampon-compatible mountain and ski boots or for mountain boots without crampons - the Shark II adapts individually. With shoe sizes from EU 34 to 50 (with optional long bridge), it is perfect for a wide range of shoe models.
