The Shark Auto II from Edelrid is an indispensable tool for anyone who moves in challenging alpine terrain. This technical 12toecrampon is specially designed for ice climbing, mountaineering and expeditions and offers extreme lightness and stability thanks to its three-dimensional shape. Made from high-quality steel with an abrasion-resistant coating, the crampon guarantees durability and resistance, even under the toughest conditions.
Edelrid places particular emphasis on flexibility and adaptability: The infinitely adjustable automatic binding is compatible with all Edelrid binding types and crampon parts and is suitable for both crampon-compatible and semicrampon-compatible mountain and ski boots. The supplied front soft binding enables quick conversion to a semi-automatic binding, ideal for crampon-compatible mountain boots. An innovative catch strap buckle with quick-release function and optional rear safety catch ensures optimum usability, even when wearing gloves.
The robust spring steel bridge and the anti-bump plates included in the scope of delivery offer additional protection and stability. Shoe size adjustment is simple and tool-free, with the short bridge suitable for shoe sizes from approx. EU 34 to 45 is suitable. A long bridge is available separately for larger shoe sizes up to EU 50. The three-dimensional front point geometry of the Shark Auto II ensures optimum grip on steep ice and excellent load-bearing capacity on snow, while the catch strap with strap keepers holds the strap material securely in place.
