The Salathe Lite from Edelrid is the ideal companion for anyone who doesn't want to compromise when climbing and bouldering. This ultra-light helmet is specially designed for climbing and bouldering activities and offers a perfect balance between protection and comfort. Thanks to the innovative Curv® material used in its manufacture, the Salathe Lite is almost 20% lighter than comparable models. This material offers exceptional impact resistance and stiffness, similar to fiber-reinforced composites, but with significantly less weight.
Another highlight of the helmet is the ultra-light EPP core, which ensures excellent shock absorption and high dimensional stability. The ergonomic inner shape with removable and washable padding guarantees a comfortable fit over long periods of time. The minimalist adjustment system with adjustable straps ensures an optimum fit. Large ventilation openings allow continuous air exchange and prevent heat build-up, which is particularly beneficial on hot days or during intensive climbing tours.
The Salathe Lite is also equipped with practical features such as a headlamp attachment consisting of two clips at the front and an elastic strap at the back. This makes it particularly versatile, whether during the day or at night.
