The Riot Adze II from Edelrid is the ultimate all-roundice tool, specially designed for technical mountaineering and ice climbing. With its ergonomic handle design, it offers a secure grip that won't falter even in the most demanding conditions. The innovative shaft geometry enables increased impact power and precise positioning both on ice and rock, which is an indispensable feature for ambitious mountaineers.
A special highlight is the waterfall pick made of hardened steel, which impresses with its minimal blasting effect in the ice. In addition, an optional accelerator can be mounted on the pick to further increase the impact force - ideal for challenging ice climbing passages. The modular system of the Riot Adze II offers extensive customization options with accessories to optimally adapt the device to individual needs and a wide variety of conditions.
The load-bearing steel spike is equipped with an opening for attaching a carabiner and can withstand a load of up to 8 kN, making it particularly robust and reliable. With the option of choosing between a shovel and a hammer, both of which have the same weight, the device remains perfectly balanced.
