Edelrid Rage Ice II

The Rage Ice II from Edelrid is the ultimate tool for climbing- and bouldering experiences on challenging ice routes. The ergonomically shaped handle with integrated finger hole offers a secure grip, even during intensive swinging movements. Thanks to the aggressive shaft curvature and the generous clearance under the head, the ice axe can be positioned precisely in any situation. The waterfall pick made of hardened steel with minimal blasting effect guarantees maximum efficiency and safety when climbing.
Particularly noteworthy is the load-bearing spike made of steel, which has a load capacity of 8 kN and provides an opening for attaching a carabiner. The optional Mixed pick, available with more teeth and increased material thickness, ensures excellent torsional strength. An optional accelerator can be mounted on the pick for even more power. The Rage Ice II is compatible with all technical attachments of EDELRID ice axes, allowing individual adaptation to a wide range of conditions.
The scope of delivery includes an Allen key that makes it easier to adjust the device. A recess on the head of the ice tool is also suitable for large carabiners, which further underlines the versatility of the Rage Ice II. Whether with thick or thin gloves, the handle can be individually adjusted using the supplied spacer to provide optimum grip even for smaller hands.
