The facts at a glance
Edelrid Iguazu III
The Iguazu III from Edelrid is a versatile and innovative climbing harness designed for both guides and private users. This climbing harness impresses with its replaceable abrasion protection made of robust Tarpaulin material and wear indicator straps, which increase durability and safety during climbing and bouldering. The design with four buckles enables a maximum adjustment range and ensures that the tie-in point always remains centered.
Particularly noteworthy are the two tie-in points made of textile and metal, which allow flexible tie-ins both horizontally and vertically. This is particularly practical for separating the descender and self-belay device. The harness also has two additional metal tie-in points that can be used for a rope bag, for example. With four large gear loops (size 1: two gear loops) and additional attachment options for knives and gear carabiners, the Iguazu III is ideally equipped to safely stow all the necessary equipment.
Wearing comfort is improved by the split two-strap-system on the hip belt, while the stitched Steck-clamp-buckles enable quick and safe donning and doffing. The abrasion-protected leg loop straps are another highlight, as the load-bearing strap element is enclosed in a protective textile band. The integrated RFID transponder rounds off the sophisticated design by providing additional security and traceability.
