Deuter Speed Lite 21

The Speed Lite 21 from Deuter is the ideal companion for anyone looking for speed and lightness in the mountains. With a capacity of 21 liters, this versatile backpack is perfect for activities such as hiking, trekking, mountaineering, climbing, bouldering, speed hiking, running and traveling. Thanks to the proven Lite carrying system and the ergonomically shaped, perforated shoulder straps, the backpack offers maximum comfort, while the infinitely adjustable chest strap and the removable waist belt allow for individual adjustment.
Particularly noteworthy is the V-shaped frame, which efficiently transfers the load to the hip fins for better weight distribution. Two elasticated side pockets and a front pocket offer additional storage space, while a stretchinner compartment holds wet clothing or a hydration bladder. Safety has also been considered: an SOS label with emergency numbers is integrated, and reinforced zipperloops provide additional robustness.
The Speed Lite 21 is not only functional, but also environmentally friendly. Made from 100% recycled industrial waste and PFAS-free, it meets the highest sustainability standards. The goggle holder on the shoulder strap and the loops for a helmet holder (not included) round off the well thought-out features. With its dimensions of 46 x 27 x 19 cm, it adapts perfectly to the body and still offers enough space for all important utensils.

Technologies and manufacturing processes

  • Lite system

Our high-quality lightweight backpacks are reduced to the essentials and are particularly well suited for fast endurance sports and alpine day tours. Depending on the volume, light to medium loads can be carried quite comfortably. In addition to lightness, we naturally continue to keep an eye on the long durability of our products - to protect the environment and people
  • Easy on the back thanks to ergonomic carrying comfort

The wide, ergonomically shaped and highly ventilated shoulder straps, the cuddly hip fins and the infinitely adjustable chest strap with soft receptacle ensure a close and stable fit of the load and the distribution of the weight on the hips and shoulders. The pressure on the shoulders is thus reduced and the back relieved.
  • More energy thanks to the greatest lightness

Due to its design, the use of particularly lightweight material, the features reduced to the essentials and the deuter LITE carrying system brings the Speed Lite 23 SL to a featherweight 880 g (840 g at). Thus, one consumes less energy when carrying and has more of it for the trail.
