The Dainese Elemento ski helmet combines outstanding safety features with a sophisticated and lightweight design developed specifically for skiers. The robust polycarbonate outer shell and foamed polystyrene inner shell provide optimum protection against violent impacts and comply with the highest European and North American safety standards, including CE EN 1077 Type B and ASTM F-2040. Despite its solid protective functions, the helmet remains remarkably light, making it an ideal companion on the slopes.
A particular highlight of the Elemento is the efficient ventilation system with large central openings placed at strategic points to maximize air flow. This ensures that moisture and excess heat are effectively dissipated to the outside, creating a comfortable wearing climate. The thermoformed, removable and washable inner lining enhances comfort and ensures rapid moisture absorption.
The removable ear pads are inspired by auxetic shapes found in nature that expand under strain. These pads not only provide warmth and comfort, but also enable clear perception of ambient noise, which is essential for safety on the slopes. The helmet is equipped with a robust buckle closure that is easy to operate even when wearing gloves, as well as a practical gogglesattachment system with silicone strap and metal button.
