Dainese ski helmets are designed around the skier's head: they wrap it protectively, combining maximum safety and lightness with a powerful and practical design. ELEMENTO is synonymous with lightness and protection. Its resistant, lightweight polycarbonate shell and foamed polystyrene inner shell can absorb the most violent impacts and meet the strictest European and North American certification standards - CE EN 1077 Type B and ASTM F-2040 - while ensuring an extremely low helmet weight. The large central vents are located at the point of highest air pressure and allow the channeling of flow inside the helmet, wicking moisture and excess heat to the outside. The inside of the helmet is made of warm and breathable thermoformed lining, which makes the helmet very comfortable and allows rapid absorption of sweat and moisture. The shape of the ears is inspired by the auxetic shapes present in nature, materials that expand in the event of stretching or impact transverse to the direction of stretching. Soft and breathable, they envelop the head in a comfortable way while allowing sounds from the outside to be perceived freely. The buckle closure is resistant and easy to use, even with gloves. The mask holder on the back is made of silicone with practical metal button.
