Named after the Hoher Sarstein, which lies between Upper Austria and Styria, the Dachstein Sarstein GTX lives up to its name. Because if you want to be rewarded with the panorama on the 1,975-metre-high summit, you first have to prove your fitness and sure-footedness. This is where this hiking boot from Dachstein has found its terrain and reveals its strengths: the exclusive Vibram®-Serpent sole is made for long hikes on challenging terrain. The specially arranged lugs are one millimeter higher on the heel than on the forefoot. This not only improves grip when walking downhill, it also supports ergonomic rolling. The PU midsole absorbs shocks, especially in the heel and toe area. The anatomical tongue construction hugs the foot for a comfortable fit all day long. Dachstein uses robust and technical Perwanger® suede leather from Italy for the upper material. A Liba® Smart toe protection also protects against abrasion. The boot is also equipped with the waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX membrane for weather changes or short detours through mountain streams. The shoe is made in Europe.
