Striking in design and convincing in performance, the Alpstein GTX is the new all-rounder for leisure activities, from the front door to the mountain peaks. Whether dew in spring, downpours in summer, wet autumn leaves or white-sugared paths in winter, the special lug profile of the Vibram® Vybrid rubber sole is particularly aggressively designed for optimum traction and secure grip on any surface. For small detours into rockier terrain, the sole is also slightly raised over the midsole on the side, giving the shoe an even more technical look. Flex lines improve the natural roll-off. Another eye-catching feature is the cushioning EVA midsole. It is visibly integrated into the design and shines through with its bright color on the sides and forefoot. DACHSTEIN combines the robust ripstop upper with an insensitive nubuck leather on the heel and toe section and a suede insert on the side. The Alpstein GTX is equipped for any weather thanks to its waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® membrane. The shoe brings more comfort with its removable OrthoLite® insole. Practical features such as a loop at the back facilitate entry and are a casual design element.
