The W Recon Stretch Ski Pants by Black Diamond are the perfect choice for women who go on ski tours and freeskiing adventures. Designed specifically for long days of skiing in harsh conditions, these pants combine a 4-Way-Stretch fabric with Black Diamond's BD.dry™ technology. This innovative technology ensures a water column of 20,000 mm and a breathability of 20,000 g/m2/24 h, which guarantees optimum protection against wind and weather as well as maximum comfort.
The Recon Stretch Ski Pants offer numerous practical features that are specially tailored to the needs of female skiers. Two cargo pockets on the thighs, coated YKK® Aquaguard® zippers and 1/4 zippers on the lower leg ensure functionality and easy handling. Thanks to the integrated RECCO® technology and the anatomically shaped knees and seat area, you will always feel safe and comfortable. The trousers also feature climbing-specific inserts and a waistband with belt loops and a detachable belt.
For additional comfort and protection, the leg cuffs are reinforced on the inside and a high-set inner gaiter is integrated. The main fabric of the trousers is Bluesign-certified, which means that it has been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way. A revised, flat pocket for an LVSdevice rounds off the sophisticated design. The Recon Stretch Ski Pants are made without the use of PFASchemicals, making them an eco-friendly choice for environmentally conscious skiers.

BD.Dry 3L
Like the 2.5L fabrics, the BD.dry 3L fabrics also have a DWR coating. Instead of an open-pored inner coating, however, these fabrics have a hydrophilic membrane that allows water vapor to pass through. There is a third layer of jersey on the back of this fabric, which feels pleasant against the skin and wicks moisture away in the form of vapor through the hydrophilic membrane.
