The functional Black Diamond HighLine Stretch Shell is the most versatile three-layer alpine jacket in the Black Diamonds collection. The HighLine combines the waterproof and breathable protection of Black Diamond's premium BD.dry and Empel technology with a support fabric that helps regulate body temperature while moving. The HighLine is designed for fast tours with little equipment and has an adjustable hood, seams in the shoulder area for more freedom of movement and a lower neckline to improve freedom of movement with a backpack. Two chest pockets, two hand pockets, an inner pocket and zippers under the arms round off the functional features of this alpine jacket.

BD.Dry 3L
Like the 2.5L fabrics, the BD.dry 3L fabrics also have a DWR coating. Instead of an open-pored inner coating, however, these fabrics have a hydrophilic membrane that allows water vapor to pass through. There is a third layer of jersey on the back of this fabric, which feels pleasant against the skin and wicks moisture away in the form of vapor through the hydrophilic membrane. How to measure
- 1. Collar circumference:Measured around the larynx. Measured at the level of the larynx. The tape should not constrict and must be passed around the neck horizontally.
- 2. Chest:Measure the circumference at the widest part of the chest (under the armpits)
- 3. Sleeve length:The distance from top of shoulder joint to arm wrist. Angle the arm slightly and pass the tape through the elbow as well.
- 4. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 5. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
