The W Dawn Patrol Hybrid Shell from Black Diamond is the ideal choice for demanding hikes and outdoor adventures. Designed specifically for women, this jacket combines BD.dry™ waterproof and breathable technology with a breathable softshell fabric that provides optimal ventilation in heat-prone areas. With a water column of 20,000 mm and breathability of 20,000 g/m²/24h, it offers excellent protection from the elements while allowing you to move freely.
The jacket has an adjustable, ski helmet-compatible hood and inserts under the arms to ensure additional freedom of movement. Two climbing harness-compatible chest pockets offer space for skins, and a front zipper with integrated mesh insert provides additional ventilation. An integrated chest pocket with cable exit and lightweight stretchgaiters round off the versatile features. With a front length of 67 cm and a weight of just 455 g, this jacket is lightweight yet robust.

BD.Dry 3L
Like the 2.5L fabrics, the BD.dry 3L fabrics also have a DWR coating. Instead of an open-pored inner coating, however, these fabrics have a hydrophilic membrane that allows water vapor to pass through. There is a third layer of jersey on the back of this fabric, which feels pleasant against the skin and wicks moisture away in the form of vapor through the hydrophilic membrane. How to measure
- 1. Collar circumference:Measured around the larynx. Measured at the level of the larynx. The tape should not constrict and must be passed around the neck horizontally.
- 2. Chest:Measure the circumference at the widest part of the chest (under the armpits)
- 3. Sleeve length:The distance from top of shoulder joint to arm wrist. Angle the arm slightly and pass the tape through the elbow as well.
- 4. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 5. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
