- "The Black Diamond Spot 400 R with 400 lumens is ideal for dawn excursions, night approaches or simply climbing until sunset. It now has a smaller housing with a more efficient design. The Spot 400 has been given a compact housing and slim profile and now offers more ergonomic handling for greater comfort. The operability has also been improved with a second button to make it easier to select the lens mode. The Spot 400 R is powered by our BD 1500 lithium-ion battery, which is charged via a micro USB port, and features a sustainably manufactured elastic headband with recycled fabric content from Repreve. The revised optical efficiency not only provides brighter light and more luminosity, but also conserves battery life, which can now be tracked with a battery power meter (3 LEDs) for six settings. The Spot 400 provides close-range lighting, e.g. for cooking, reading or sorting equipment, and has an IPX8-certified waterproof housing. The memory mode saves the desired brightness setting for the next time it is switched on. Another advantage of the Spot 400 is the PowerTap technology, which allows brightness settings to be made in no time at all."
