The Black Diamond Helio Active Shell is a high-performance jacket for fast descents and long days in the backcountry. The three-layer Gore-Tex Active technology provides ultimate breathability for performance-intensive ski touring as well as durable water and windproof protection. The Helio Active's Gore-Tex® C-Knit lining enhances comfort by replacing the rather stiff fabric of a traditional hardshell with a soft overall construction. With two harness-compatible hand pockets and a one-hand adjustable coheasive hood that can be worn over a climbing helmet, the Helio Active is ready for high alpine ski touring destinations, while full-length underarm zippers ensure quick temperature regulation on strenuous climbs. The interior integrated throw-in pocket stows important small items. The one-hand adjustable coheasive hem has an integrated drawcord system that protects against moisture ingress.
