The M Belay Parka from Black Diamond is the ideal choice for cold days, whether you're climbing in an urban environment or on outdooradventures. This completely redesigned jacket for 2023 offers a perfect combination of functionality and comfort. Made from high-quality PrimaLoft® material, the parka offers outstanding thermal insulation thanks to 200 g/m² Primaloft Rise and Primaloft Gold Cross Core inserts, which provide optimum protection on the body, shoulders and hood. The durable 50D PFC-free ripstop outer material provides reliable protection against wind and weather, while the 20D nylon taffeta lining provides additional warmth.
The M Belay Parka is equipped with an adjustable, climbing helmet-compatible hood that offers protection and comfort when needed. The two-way-YKK® zipper with DWR treatment and wind cover allows quick access to the belay device, making it ideal for climbing. Lightweight stretch cuffs and a drawcord at the hood and hem ensure a perfect fit and additional protection from the cold.
Practical details such as the two hand pockets, two zippered chest pockets and two internal throw-in pockets provide sufficient storage space for all important items, be it gloves, drinks bottles or other personal items. The left chest pocket also has an inner pocket made of elasticated mesh fabric, which provides additional storage space and organization. The relaxed fit and range of sizes from XS to XXL make the M Belay Parka a versatile companion for all genders and activities.

How to measure
- 1. Collar circumference:Measured around the larynx. Measured at the level of the larynx. The tape should not constrict and must be passed around the neck horizontally.
- 2. Chest:Measure the circumference at the widest part of the chest (under the armpits)
- 3. Sleeve length:The distance from top of shoulder joint to arm wrist. Angle the arm slightly and pass the tape through the elbow as well.
- 4. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 5. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
