The M Approach Down Hoody from Black Diamond is the ideal choice for adventurers who are out and about in their free time as well as on demanding outdooractivities such as climbing, ice climbing or expeditions. This jacket is specially designed to be worn over a shirt on cool multi-pitch routes or under a shell in winter temperatures in alpine terrain. It combines lightness with excellent thermal insulation and is therefore perfect for anyone who wants to move freely in the great outdoors.
Made from ultra-lightweight nylon ripstop, the Approach Down Hoody offers superior water-repellent performance without PFC thanks to GTT's innovative Empel™ technology. This environmentally friendly DWR coating ensures exceptional durability, while the RDS-certified HyperDRY™ goose down with 800 fill power provides reliable warmth even in bad weather. The jacket is equipped with an adjustable hood and elasticated cuffs to ensure optimum protection and comfort.
Practical details such as the YKK Vislon Slim zipper and the option of stowing the jacket in the hand pocket make it an indispensable companion. The integrated carabiner loop makes it easy to attach the jacket to the climbing harness. With two hand pockets and a zippered chest pocket, the hoody also offers plenty of storage space for small items.

How to measure
- 1. Collar circumference:Measured around the larynx. Measured at the level of the larynx. The tape should not constrict and must be passed around the neck horizontally.
- 2. Chest:Measure the circumference at the widest part of the chest (under the armpits)
- 3. Sleeve length:The distance from top of shoulder joint to arm wrist. Angle the arm slightly and pass the tape through the elbow as well.
- 4. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 5. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
