The Battle Mountain 3 from Big Agnes is the ideal tent for ambitious mountaineers and adventurers who don't want to compromise even in extreme weather conditions. This robust, lightweight shelter has been specially developed for use at base camp and on high mountain expeditions. Thanks to its durable polyesterripstop material, it offers exceptional tear resistance, UVresistance and stability in changing temperatures and humidity. The golden yellow color of the tent, inspired by the Tibetan-Buddhist goddess Miyo Losangma, makes it an eye-catching tribute to the goddess of prosperity and happiness.
The Battle Mountain 3 is equipped with two doors and two vestibules that offer flexible access options and additional storage space. The doors have two zippers and windows with two closure options, offering either mesh only for optimal ventilation or a full nylon cover for protection. The storm covers on the vestibule zippers and the color-coded webbing and poles make it easy to set up quickly and safely, even in adverse conditions. High and low guy loops and reflective guy ropes and webbing provide additional stability in strong winds.
The tent offers generous storage space thanks to oversized 3-D-pockets without compromising the living space. The fly is made of Dominico®, an undyed polyesterripstop fabric that increases tear resistance by 20-25% and offers high UVresistance. The nylon taffeta groundsheet with a 10,000 mm waterproof polyurethanecoating keeps you dry, while the breathable ripstopnylon and polyestermesh of the tent body ensures comfort. All seams are taped with waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane tape to prevent water ingress.
For easy handling in extreme conditions, the DAC twist clips are easy to operate even when wearing gloves. The tent is ready to pitch with pre-cut guy lines and tensioners and offers numerous inner loops for attaching accessories and mtnGLO® Tent & Camp Lights. The golden yellow color of Battle Mountain was requested by Chhiring Dorje Sherpa in honor of the Tibetan Buddhist goddess of prosperity and good fortune, Miyo Losangma. She inhabits Mount Everest and is generous to those who show her gratitude. Her skin is golden yellow, and when Chhiring sets up these tents, they will stand out as a tribute to her.

The flysheet is made from Dominico®, an undyed polyester ripstop fabric with high-tenacity yarns that increase tear resistance by 20-25% over conventional nylon or polyester ripstop fabrics. It also offers high UV resistance and stability with temperature and humidity fluctuations, ensuring a solid and stable tent when pitched
The fly is silicone-treated with a 1200 mm thick, waterproof polyurethane coating and has an additional coating on the front of the fabric to increase tear resistance and UV resistance
The bottom is made of nylon taffeta with a 10,000 mm waterproof polyurethane coating
Tent body made of breathable ripstop nylon and polyester mesh
The material is dyed using a unique pigment dye process that prevents fading and increases UV resistance, which increases the longevity of the fabric when used at high altitudes.
