The Battle Mountain 2 from Big Agnes is a robust and reliable tent for demanding mountaineers and alpinists. It offers protection and stability in extreme weather conditions and is specially designed for use at high altitudes. With its golden yellow color, which was chosen by Chhiring Dorje Sherpa in honor of the Tibetan-Buddhist goddess Miyo Losangma, it makes a radiant statement in the mountains. The golden fly made of Dominico® polyesterripstop is not only a visual highlight, but also offers exceptional tear resistance and UVresistance.
The tent is equipped with two doors and two vestibules, which are fitted with storm covers and offer versatile access options. The color-coded straps and poles make pitching a breeze, even with gloves on. The oversized DAC twist clips and internal guy loops provide extra stability in high winds. Two vents improve air circulation and reduce condensation, while the fully closable options provide extra protection in extreme weather conditions.
The tent body is made of breathable ripstopnylon and polyestermesh that is dyed with a special pigment dye process to prevent fading and increase UVresistance. The floor of the tent is made from nylon taffeta with an impressive 10,000 mm waterproof polyurethanecoating. With ample storage space in oversized 3-D pockets and multiple inner loops for attaching accessories, the Battle Mountain 2 is well equipped for long stays at base camp.

- The flysheet is made from Dominico®, an undyed polyester ripstop fabric with high-tenacity yarns that increase tear resistance by 20-25% over conventional nylon or polyester ripstop fabrics. It also offers high UV resistance and stability with temperature and humidity fluctuations, ensuring a solid and stable tent when pitched
- The fly is silicone-treated with a 1200 mm thick, waterproof polyurethane coating and has an additional coating on the front of the fabric to increase tear resistance and UV resistance
- The bottom is made of nylon taffeta with a 10,000 mm waterproof polyurethane coating
