Water-repellent, breathable Bergans Element Active covers the hood, shoulders and upper body and the back from the waist down. This is perfect if you want to enjoy your coffee on a cold, damp park bench. On the shoulders the down is covered by a synthetic insulation layer, PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation with Cross Core. The reason for this is that shoulders are particularly exposed to rain and snowfall and because the PrimaLoft® filling does not collapse when wet.
