Alpina Altona V
Varioflex is a lens technology in which the lenses adjust automatically depending on the weather. The self-tinting (photochromic) lenses of the Altona V replacement visor react to UVlight. When exposed to light, chemical elements "open" and create a flat, darkening effect. If the light intensity decreases, the chemical elements close and the lens becomes lighter again. This process takes place in a matter of seconds.The Altona V replacement visor is additionally mirrored and thus protects against glare.
