The facts at a glance
Abus Smartx RC
ABUS SmartX Remote Control (RC) - Open your bike lock easily by remote control The SmartX Remote Control (RC) is an accessory for the ABUS Bordo 6500A SmartX bike lock. It is a smart bike lock that can be opened using a smartphone instead of the classic key. The hand-held transmitter is a practical alternative to a smartphone. The hand-held transmitter and its advantages Are your hands too full again to rummage for your bike key or are you pressed for time? Such situations often occur in everyday life. Thanks to the smart lock, you can open your bike lock quickly and easily in any situation. It doesn't matter where the remote control is in your bag, you don't have to search for it. Because as soon as the Bluetooth® connection between the lock and remote control is established, the lock can simply be opened. The remote control is an advantage for both non-smartphone users and smartphone users. Smartphoneusers can fall back on the remote control when the cell phone battery is empty. How does opening work? All you need to do is approach the folding lock with your smartphone or remote control. If the lock receives the Bluetooth® signal from the cell phone or remote control, it can be opened directly. Alternatively, automatic opening can be switched off. The bike lock then only opens when you click on an icon in the SmartX app or a button on the remote control to unlock it.
