The Rendalen Pant is 8848 Altitude's most advanced hiking pant, made for serious outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy long days in the mountains or wilderness. With materials and construction created for maximum freedom of movement and durability, they are undoubtedly 8848 Altitude's highest performing pant. An outdoor pant that is comfortable in demanding terrain and whose main task is to provide you with the best conditions for a perfect day in the outdoors. The main part of the pants is made of a technical material with 4-wege-stretch, a fabric that is slightly heavier, yet light and supple. It provides excellent flexibility in every movement and with its effective moisture transport ensures that the body is kept dry and fresh. Leg cuffs, knees and buttocks are the parts most exposed to abrasion and moisture, so they are equipped with waxed reinforcement inserts made of T/C fabric. They protect against branches, brush and thorns and keep you dry when you sit or bend your knees. The panels can be impregnated again and again with our environmentally friendly Impvax made in Sweden from stearin, beeswax and linseed oil. The active fit is designed to create a natural shape thanks to the pre-shaped knees, which also prevent skin irritation and chafing. The included durable stretch belt keeps the pants securely in place. An additional comfort-enhancing feature is the large vents along the thighs, which open easily to release excess heat. Snacks, map, gear or lighter tools you want to access are safely stored in the large leg pockets that have both zippers and flaps with snaps. The pants have two back pockets with sturdy zippers, all zippers are of course of the highest quality from YKK®. The leg closure at the bottom has a flexible band and snap closure, so you can adjust the width optimally over the boot. There is also an integrated metal boot hook at the front if you want to secure the pants completely.
