An optimal protection against penetrating snow, rain and wind even in hard weather is created by several solutions; the fixed snowgaiter, the adjustable width at the bottom, the adjustable sleeve ends and the generous storm hood that can be adjusted both with drawstring at the front and top to be able to close tightly. The jacket's durable YKK® zippers are waterproof and all pullers have rubber grips that safely can be handled with gloves on. For a complementary opportunity to efficiently evacuate excess heat when touring, the jacket has ventilation system under the sleeves with long zippers.

Freeride and randonnée require equipment, energy and accessories for long days on the mountain. The jacket therefore has plenty of storage solutions, also fully accessible with a backpack on. Both the vertical chest pockets and the large waist pockets are accessible without being obstructed by the backpack's harness and straps. On the inside of the jacket there are two inner pockets in mesh – one open and one with zipper. On the sleeve of the jacket; the mandatory ski pass pocket. The profiling is minimalistic with an "8" in lightweight metal on the chest and a printed logo on the sleeve's adjustment band.
