Five Ten was founded in 1985 by Charles Cole in the US state of Florida and by 2011 had become one of the world's leading manufacturers of climbing shoes. In the same year, the company was bought by adidas and became a subsidiary brand.
Since the takeover, the climbing and mountain bike clothing has been constantly developed and improved - in line with the adidas motto " impossible is nothing ". The focus is on performance and sustainability, as sports should connect and inspire change. Consequently, Five Ten also sponsors various athletes in the climbing and mountain biking disciplines.
