The company was founded in 1932 by Max Kohla in Innsbruck in the heart of the Alps. Kohla stands for tradition and quality, which result from the passion for mountain sports. In addition, the company has always relied on "Made in Tyrol" and has, among other things, created the "Brutal Local" label, which stands for an almost 100% value chain in Austria. This results in high-quality and sustainable products, including ski climbing skins, backpacks, hiking poles and gaiters.
