The Smith Survey ski and snowboard helmet is the perfect choice for anyone who values safety and comfort. The innovative In-Mold construction combines the outer shell and rigid foam body (EPS) into a unified shape that makes the helmet lightweight yet durable. Thanks to the Koroyd® inserts in certain zones, the helmet offers excellent impact protection by absorbing energy while being well ventilated. The MIPS® Brain Protection System also reduces the rotational forces that can act on the head in the event of an impact.
The integrated ChromaPop™ visor provides a wide field of vision and offers high-contrast, colorful and terrain-defining clarity. The helmet is particularly suitable for spectacle wearers (OTG), and an optional photochromatic visor automatically adapts to changing light conditions. The 14 ventilation openings and the AirEvac™ ventilation system ensure a fog-free lens and optimum air circulation. The temperature regulators allow easy, one-handed adjustment of the ventilation.
The helmet is equipped with an adjustable Dial-Fit system that makes it easy to adjust the fit in no time at all. The removable Snapfit SL2 ear pads provide additional warmth and are audio-compatible, so they can be used with the Aleck™ audio system without any problems. The helmet is certified to ASTM F 2040, CE EN 1077:2007 CLASS B and EN174 standards and weighs just 400 g in size M (MIPS® / without MIPS®).
