Technologies and manufacturing processes
S4 Alluminium
SCOTT aluminum ski poles undergo an electrostatic paint process, delivering a clean, contemporary, highly durable finish. They are constructed with the strongest aircraft-grade aluminum-zinc alloy commercially available, which has been heat treated and aged in order to confer its excellent properties. S4 aluminum poles are twice as strong as the industrystandard and possess a very high strength-to-weight ratio.S.R.S. System
The Scott S.R.S (Strap Release Strap System) is the next generation in ski pole safety technologies. The Scott Riot 18, Team Issue, the Zeo 13, the Riot 18 and the Rs-18 are equipped with the S.R.S. system. In tricky situations, the strap can be detached from the handle of the ski pole to prevent injuries.
