The Pedroc Air for men was designed, developed and tested in the Dolomites - and is perfect for fast mountain tours on hot days. Thanks to the highly breathable mesh fabric in the upper material, your feet stay dry even in summer temperatures. For even more flexibility and stability, the lightweight, knitted upper is reinforced by Salewa's 3F system with extremely tear and abrasion-resistant Kevlar fibers. The patented 3F system connects the instep area with the sole and heel, guaranteeing a secure hold while maintaining flexibility.
An abrasion-resistant TPU coating protects against rocks or debris in particularly exposed areas. The Speed Hiker Pro outsole from Pomoca™ has been specially developed for speed hiking and promises optimum grip and friction. The S-Path technology also ensures a natural, smooth roll - on the mountain and in the city. The lightweight, flexible EVA midsole ensures the necessary cushioning even on long speed hiking tours.
The additional Multi Fit Footbed (MFF+) insoles supplied allow individual adjustment to further increase comfort. The Speed Hiking shoe is part of the SALEWA® Committed collection, in which products are manufactured according to independently audited environmental and social standards. The membrane used is water-repellent and PFC-free, which makes the shoe particularly environmentally friendly. Weighing just 310 g (per shoe, size 9 UK), the Pedroc Air is Salewa's lightest and most agile speed hiking-shoe.
