The EVA midsole ensures excellent cushioning and maximum comfort, even on long hikes. Thanks to Salewa's proprietary 3F system, the shoe adapts perfectly to the foot and offers firm ankle support and lateral stability thanks to the integrated steel cable. The Climbing Lacing climbing lacing enables precise adjustment up to the toes, which further improves performance on the rock.
With the Vibram® Alpine Hiking outsole, the ALP Trainer 2 GTX W offers excellent grip and traction on a wide variety of mountain terrain. The special climbing, traction and braking zones and the robust lug profile ensure a secure grip, even in wet and muddy conditions.
