As protection against cold was a made a priority for the ELVA, fast-drying Easy-Dry lining was complemented by a PrimaLoft® Gold insulation with the brand new Cross Core™ technology with aerogels. Aerogels originated in the aeronautics industry. They are highly porous structures with an extremely low density. They exhibit 95 percent porosity and count among the lightest solid materials in the world - this means for gloves that they have an extremely good ratio of (little) volume and (low) weight as well as (high) warming properties. Additional features: 100 percent windproof and particularly breathable ROECK-PROOF® Ural softshell material on the backhand as well as breathable and elastic ROECK-GRIP® on the palm for an excellent grip.
