The Obex BC Mips Hedvig Wessel Edition by POC is the ideal helmet for those who go on ski touring and freeskiing adventures. This unisex helmet is equipped with a variety of advanced safety features, including the Mips® rotational impact protection system, the RECCO® avalanche rescue reflector and the NFC Medical ID from twICEme®. These technologies offer additional protection and enable quick and effective assistance in an emergency.
The design of the helmet is inspired by Hedvig Wessel's home country of Norway and the Stetind National Park. The helmet features a unique printdesign based on a painting by Hedvig herself and gold-colored details depicting the contour lines of a map. These aesthetic elements make the helmet not only a safe but also a stylish companion.
The Obex BC Mips helmet impresses with its functional features: The polycarbonate outer shell with an upper section made of ABS ensures optimum resilience and durability with low weight. The 360° adjustment system allows for a comfortable and secure fit, while the fully adjustable ventilation and integrated goggle vents maximize comfort in different weather conditions.
In addition, Aramid inserts provide increased penetration protection and structural resilience, while the EPS insert has been optimized for lightweight impact protection. The fixed goggles clip and removable ear pads round off the sophisticated design. The helmet is certified according to CE EN 1077-B and ASTM F2040 standards and therefore offers maximum safety and quality.
