That's exactly why we created the Mistral Jacket, which combines the wind protection of a jacket with the comfort of a jersey for maximum performance on fast rides in fall and spring. This jacket protects you from the elements. A lightweight, body-hugging top, it provides just the comfort you need to perform at your best. Named for the biting French Mistral wind, it's based on Mavic's new Stormshield® technology: a 3-layer laminate with full wind protection and a water-repellent finish. The jacket is also highly breathable, thanks to its knit material at the back. So you can go full throttle on the mountain and still enjoy protection from wind and cold on the descent. Although the Mistral jacket is cut close to the body so as not to flutter in the wind, the two stretch materials fit comfortably to a wide range of body proportions. The silicone hip gripper at the back ensures slip-free fit. The bonded sleeve and neck cuffs fit so skin-tight that wind and cold stay outside. The cuffs also ensure a perfect fit with your gloves. The Vislon® zipper is extra smooth. Three back pockets plus a zippered pocket safely hold everything you need. And retroreflective elements provide better visibility in low light conditions. This product was developed in France, it is manufactured in Europe, with materials "made in Italy". This ensures a favorable, because local "ecological footprint".
