• VIBRAM EVO TRAC®

  The RENEGADE GTX LO has a Vibram sole. The Italian sole manufacturer has been one of the leading brands in the field of high-quality soles for many years. With the self-cleaning VIBRAM EVO TRAC® sole, the multifunctional tread design and proven rubber compound ensure optimum properties. The special design of the sole tip and heel contribute to high walking comfort both uphill and downhill.

• Gore-Tex

  Guaranteed weather protection, even in heavy rain and snow: The TORO PRO GTX MID Ws is equipped with a GORE-TEX membrane. This innovative technology ensures optimum waterproofness and breathability. Permanently waterproof The membrane is reliably waterproof. No matter what adventure you are planning, you can rely on the GORE-TEX technology to keep your feet pleasantly dry. High breathability Designed for optimized breathability, GORE-TEX shoes ensure pleasant comfort even during intensive activities. Water cannot penetrate, while water vapor can escape from the inside through the billions of pores in the GORE-TEX membrane. Windproof The GORE-TEX membrane reliably keeps wind and weather at bay. This means you can go on tours in any weather.

• DOUBLE INJECTION

  For effective cushioning and a high level of comfort, the sole of the TORO PRO GTX MID Ws is connected to the upper using a technically complex injection molding process. To do this, the upper shoe is placed in a specially manufactured mold. PU foam is then inserted into the mold in different layers. This creates the sole, which bonds directly with the upper to form a single unit. Lightweight The plastic used in this process is polyurethane. This is a very light foam material. Cushioning Polyurethane plastic is a foam that has very good cushioning properties. Even if the millions of small bubbles are frequently compressed, they still retain their shape and bounce back to their original state. This ensures a good rebound effect. A wide range of design options Direct injection molding means that the sole can be designed in a wide variety of ways. The versatile properties of the materials used allow the shoes to be used in a wide range of applications.

• SUPPORT FRAME

  In the TORO PRO GTX MID Ws model, the midsole in the form of the LOWA-MONOWRAP® frame ensures the best comfort. This is a three-dimensional midsole design that LOWA developed in 1995. This frame comfortably cradles the foot and supports it on uneven surfaces. In shoes with a SUPPORT FRAME, the sole construction is slightly raised. Increased comfort The special construction of the midsole ensures a comfortable stance in the shoe. The foot is pleasantly embraced by the three-dimensional frame. Lightweight The LOWA-MONOWRAP® frame is made of polyurethane. This is a very lightweight material.

• LOWA DynaPU®

  The midsole is largely responsible for the rolling behavior and cushioning of a shoe. In the TORO PRO GTX MID Ws, this consists of a specially developed synthetic material: LOWA DynaPU®. The special feature: Even if it is compressed a thousand times, it still retains its restoring force. Thus, the shoes made from it have very good cushioning properties even after many kilometers. Midsole made of LOWA DynaPU® Good comfort The special material development is characterized by good damping properties, which noticeably increases walking comfort and rolling behavior - even over long distances. Good rebound effect The polyurethane plastic is a foam that has very good damping properties. Even if the millions of small bubbles are frequently compressed, they still retain their shape and bounce back to their original state. This provides a good rebound effect. Lightweight The polyurethane plastic is very lightweight foam. Thus, the sole scores with the best wearing comfort.
