The TX Guide Leather from La Sportiva is the leather version of the most technical shoe in the TX Series. This shoe perfectly combines "split leather", suedeleather for a better fit and nubuckleather for maximum abrasion resistance. It is ideal for technical approaches and mountaineering. Developed for mountain guides and anyone who is out and about in the mountains, the TX Guide Leather offers a high-performance and durable product with a climbing-oriented look and feel.
Versatile, lightweight and protective - this shoe is perfect for walk-run & climb-approaches. It features technical solutions and a design inspired by climbing shoes: asymmetric and forward lacing, friction-resistant eyelets at the toe and an "overlap" tongue for maximum envelopment of the foot. The enveloping "Adaptable Fit" shape ensures maximum performance and adapts perfectly to all foot shapes thanks to elastic leather. The stable toe offers optimum grip on edges.
The "climbing-inspired" protective rand is made of lightweight PU-TECH Lite material. The sole and midsole combination is made with dual-density compressed EVA, which provides cushioning in the heel and stability in the midfoot. The front midsole is equipped with a two-componentinjection mouldingtechnology that serves as a stabilizer of the Climbingzone, intermediate layer and RockGuard layer. The dual Vibram MegaGrip and Idrogrip compound sole offers the perfect combination of grip and durability. The wide heel supports braking on the downhill and provides more grip on the uphill.
