La Sportiva Cyklon
The Cyklon by La Sportiva is a high-performance shoe specially developed for skyraces and off-road runs on technical terrain over medium distances. Born from the innovative collaboration between La Sportiva and BOA, this shoe offers outstanding stability, precision and a perfect fit thanks to the new Dynamic Cage™ closure system with integrated BOA® Fit System. This system works synergistically with three different elements of the upper material to ensure perfect wrapping and stability of the foot, which ensures safe and precise running, especially on downhill sections.
At the heart of the lacing system is the inner Dynamic Flap™, which wraps around the shoe and allows dynamic tension regulation of the entire system - all with one hand movement on the BOA® Fit System. Additional protection and structure is provided by the protective TPU toe and the multi-layer, heat-bonded side panel. The specially developed mud-ground outsole is ideal for soft and muddy surfaces and consists of the highly adhesive La Sportiva FriXion® White compound. AT Grip Spike nails can also be integrated, making it easier to use on icy terrain.
The dual-density EVA midsole with stabilization insert contributes to the overall stability of the shoe while reducing weight. The Cyklon is therefore not only a technical companion for demanding runners, but also a reliable shoe for various terrain conditions.
