The Icebreaker Men Descender Long Sleeve Zip is the ideal technical mid layer for men that is both insulating and breathable. This jacket is perfect for cold, active days. Made from 240 g/m² RealFleece™, a merino blend that is brushed and plush on the reverse, it offers excellent warmth and comfort without adding weight. The heat-retaining channels help to regulate body temperature, while the side inserts made of lighter Corespun fabric provide additional softness, robustness and breathability.
The Descender Zip jacket is equipped with numerous practical features. It has a hood, thumb holes to prevent the sleeves from riding up and keep your hands warm, as well as a zipper with chin guard and wind flap to prevent chafing. The side pockets and chest pocket, both with zippers, offer secure storage space for important items. Merino-lined pockets further increase comfort and the extended back section provides more coverage, especially during exercise.
Flat seams and offset shoulder and side seams prevent chafing and offer maximum comfort. Icebreaker RealFleece™ is a natural fleece made by roughening superfine merino fibers. This innovative technology combines the natural properties of merino wool with modern design to offer an environmentally friendly alternative to synthetic clothing. The Descender Zip jacket is therefore not only functional, but also sustainable.

How to measure
- 1. Collar circumference:Measured around the larynx. Measured at the level of the larynx. The tape should not constrict and must be passed around the neck horizontally.
- 2. Chest:Measure the circumference at the widest part of the chest (under the armpits)
- 3. Sleeve length:The distance from top of shoulder joint to arm wrist. Angle the arm slightly and pass the tape through the elbow as well.
- 4. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 5. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
