With a weight of just 185 grams per shoe, prolevelperformancefeatures and maximum comfort from day one, the Empire™ SLX sets itself far apart from the competition. We wanted to develop a minimalist shoe that retains the supportive structure of the legendary Empire, but takes a step forward in terms of style. To achieve this goal, we equipped the ultra-lightweight monofilament-mesh-Synchwire™ upper with additional structural support from thermoplastic Teijin®-polyurethane reinforcements. The Easton® EC90-SLX2 carbon fiber sole gives the shoe optimal stiffness and ensures ideal power transmission. Thanks to our customizable Super Natural Fit footbed, with the Empire™ SLX you get a shoe that will convince you right from the start with the highest wearing comfort and best pedaling efficiency.
