The W Recon Insulated Shell by Black Diamond is the ideal jacket for women who love ski touring and freeskiingadventures in sub-zero temperatures and harsh winter conditions. Designed specifically for women, this jacket is insulated in key zones to retain body heat while remaining breathable in areas prone to overheating. It has a variety of features that make it a versatile choice for cold weather.
With a DWRimpregnation and waterproof properties, the Recon Insulated Shell offers optimum protection against moisture and snow. The ski helmet-compatible hood and PU-coated front zipper provide additional protection from the elements. Ventilation is provided by the DWR-treated zippers under the arms, which can be opened if required.
The jacket is equipped with numerous pockets, including a chest pocket, two fell-compatible internal throw-in pockets, front hand pockets and a lift pass pocket on the left arm. The detachable snow skirt protects against penetrating snow, while the adjustable leg cuffs ensure a perfect fit. Made with PFAS chemicals, this jacket stands for high quality and durability.

How to measure
- 1. Collar circumference:Measured around the larynx. Measured at the level of the larynx. The tape should not constrict and must be passed around the neck horizontally.
- 2. Chest:Measure the circumference at the widest part of the chest (under the armpits)
- 3. Sleeve length:The distance from top of shoulder joint to arm wrist. Angle the arm slightly and pass the tape through the elbow as well.
- 4. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 5. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
