The M Recon Stretch Ski Pants from Black Diamond are the perfect choice for demanding ski tours and freeskiing adventures. Thanks to BD.dry™ technology, these pants are waterproof, windproof and breathable, so they offer optimum protection even in harsh conditions. The 4-Way-Stretch-Nylon ensures maximum freedom of movement, while the anatomically shaped knee and seat sections and climbing-specific inserts guarantee additional comfort and flexibility.
With a water column of 20,000 mm, you stay dry even in heavy snowfall. The integrated RECCO® technology increases safety in the backcountry, and the offset side vents allow individual temperature regulation. Two cargo pockets on the thighs offer plenty of storage space for important items, while the high inner gaiter and reinforced leg cuffs protect against snow.
The waistband with belt loops and detachable belt ensures a secure fit, while the redesigned, flat PIEPS Pocket™ enables good handling of the LVS equipment. These ski pants are not only functional, but also sustainably produced, as they are PFAS-free.

Like the 2.5L fabrics, the BD.dry 3L fabrics also have a DWR coating. Instead of an open-pored inner coating, however, these fabrics have a hydrophilic membrane that allows water vapor to pass through. There is a third layer of jersey on the back of this fabric, which feels pleasant against the skin and wicks moisture away in the form of vapor through the hydrophilic membrane. How to measure
- 1. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 2. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 3. Inseam length:Measured on the inside of the leg from the crotch to below the ankle.
