The facts at a glance
The North Face Womens 1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket
The 1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket from The North Face pays homage to the legendary design of the 90s, combined with modern technologies and sustainable materials. The jacket impresses with its relaxed fit with a boxy silhouette and the original, light-colored ripstop material, which ensures better durability. Thanks to the highly fluffy 700-fill goose down, it offers exceptional warmth even in icy temperatures while remaining extremely compressible.
A durable water-repellent DWR coating protects against light moisture and fabric soaking, while the recycled materials help to reduce waste and minimize the impact on nature. The unique fabric technology ensures that the jacket is breathable and effectively regulates body temperature to prevent overheating. The jacket is also equipped with an attached, three-piece hood that disappears into the collar and practical hand warmer pockets with security zippers.
Additional features such as the Taffeta reinforcements on the collar and yoke, an exposed VISLON® front zipper and a drawcord with stoppers at the hem offer additional durability and comfort. The jacket can be stowed in the right hand warmer pocket and is compatible with Triclimate® loops for snapping into the GTX Mountain Jacket. The embroidered logo on the left chest and right rear shoulder, as well as the oversize logo of the original jacket from 1996, round off the design.

How to measure
- 1. Bust circumference:Measured at the widest part of the breast, just below the nipple. Make sure that the tape measure is at the same height around the chest.
- 2. Waist:Measured the waist circumference below the navel. The measuring tape should not constrict the belly keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 3. Hips:Measure the hips circumference at the fullest part of the seat keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
- 4. Sleeve length from neck:Measure straight from your neck to shoulder point, and from shoulder point to wrist with the arm in a relaxed position.
