The Double 7.9 MM Rope from Salewa is an outstanding climbing rope that has been specially developed for demanding alpine climbing tours and technical mountaineering. With a diameter of just 7.9 mm, this rope offers impressive flexibility and supple handling, even when used intensively. The innovative Dura Weave braiding technology provides additional robustness and durability, while the PFC-free Dry Tech impregnation reliably protects the rope from moisture and dirt.
Thanks to Dyna Tech technology, the rope enables a soft fall arrest through dynamic energy dissipation, which significantly increases safety for climbers. The central marking facilitates rope handling and safe abseiling. The rope is also bluesign® certified, which means that all components have been produced in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way. Manufactured in the EU, it meets the strict EN 892 standards for half and twin ropes as well as UIAA 101.
