This jacket for men is specially designed for hiking and offers two-zone mixed insulation for optimum warmth. The synthetic insulation made from 100% recycled material is used in areas that are particularly prone to friction and moisture, while the rest of the jacket is filled with extremely warm duck down with K-DRY™ impregnation. This keeps you warm and dry at all times, even in cold weather.
The jacket is very lightweight and can be compressed to a compact size in its bag, making it the ideal companion for any hike. The sporty, modern cut and the helmet-compatible mountaineering hood with elasticated bias binding provide additional comfort and protection. The seamless shoulder construction prevents chafing, while the elasticated finish on the cuffs and the drawstring adjustments at the bottom ensure a perfect fit.
Three practical zippered pockets offer plenty of space for your essentials, and the ripstop outer material makes the jacket extremely durable. The jacket is treated with a PFC-free, durable water repellent finish (DWR), which makes it particularly environmentally friendly. ACTIVE FIT™
Close fit all over the body, slightly tighter cut at the bottom; this does not restrict freedom of movement and ensures perfomance in use. For this fit, stretchy, elastic materials are often used, which provide more comfort.
WATER REPELLENT
Durable water repellent treatment, or DWR, is a surface treatment that prevents water from penetrating and makes it roll off the surface of the garment. Optimal results in combination with a waterproof membrane.
K DRY DOWN
K Dry® down has a water-repellent surface treatment so that it does not become waterlogged and remains very light. This treatment is PFC-free to ensure better environmental protection; the RDS label guarantees animal welfare treatment.
