The Aequilibrium Top GTX by La Sportiva is a lightweight and high-performance hightechshoe, ideal for fast mountaineering on varied terrain and at medium altitudes. It seamlessly combines lightness, comfort and durability, making it the perfect choice for demanding hikes. The innovative "Double Heel™" heel construction improves braking properties when walking downhill and ensures smoother rolling behavior, which is easy on the muscles. The new sole/midsole unit with external Rubber Guard™ shell construction and internal foam provides additional cushioning and lightness through reduced rubber layers.
The ergonomic shape of the shoe wraps the foot precisely and offers additional protection thanks to integrated TPU shells on the toe and heel as well as reinforcements on the upper material. The 3D Flex System Evo™ enables better step control and perfect ankle mobility, which is particularly beneficial on demanding hikes. The external, waterproof gaiter made of elastic Cordura® and the inner Gore-Tex Performance Comfort membrane ensure maximum waterproofness and excellent breathability.
The precise and fast BOA® Fit System for lacing offers additional comfort and support. The midsole is compatible with semi-automatic crampons, making it easier to use on ice or snow. The Vibram® SpringLug Tech outsole with Impact Brake System lugs guarantees a better adaptation to hard rock surfaces and offers optimal grip and stability.
